DHI’s Marine Animal Movement Portal and its New Application in the North Sea

Gain insight on how MAMP can identify harmful environmental impacts and inform decision-makers

DHI’s Marine Animal Movement Portal (MAMP) is coming to the North Sea! MAMP uses novel spatial ecological modelling data to identify the location of vulnerable seabird and marine mammals and their responses to human impacts such as oil spills and underwater noise. These results produced by MAMP can be visualised, downloaded and used in siting decisions, further risk analyses, and EIAs. Watch this webinar and live demonstration to receive an introduction to MAMP and how it will help map the distribution and behaviour of vulnerable species in relation to planned and existing offshore projects (~20 min).
