Future City Flow is a web-based decision support system that helps water utilities and operators execute weather adapted control strategies to mitigate the effects of increased rainfall on infrastructure, as well as ensure wastewater is contained in green infrastructure, pipes and plants. By integrating weather forecasts, real-time data and predictive modelling technology into an easy-to-use online system, Future City Flow empowers water utilities to effectively reduce infiltration inflow, flooding and contamination risks. The power of Future City Flow lies in the collation of SCADA, GIS and weather data that’s fed into an online forecasting model-predictive control system and scenario-based planning tool (~45 min).
