Sustainable Stormwater Modelling in Cities Using MIKE+ (previously MIKE URBAN+)

Discover how green solutions could benefit your city with MIKE+

It’s becoming more important to sustainably manage our cities’ stormwater as a result of climate change, urbanisation, ageing infrastructures and increased vulnerability to natural disasters. Making cities more sustainable involves managing a larger portion of stormwater locally through the implementation of green solutions, surface storage and controlled surface flooding – often combined with rehabilitation and an extension of existing infrastructure capacity. To make better management decisions, urban stormwater planners must be thoroughly informed about the hydrology, hydraulics, water quality and risks that are impacting a city’s stormwater system (~40 min).
