Released in June 2020, WindSight propels a new generation of detailed, accurate, reliable and timely satellite-based data information products to improve, and complement, existing data used in wind models. The novel data suite of WindSight is composed of 5 different high-quality and high-resolution data products on land cover, key forest characteristics, historical and future changes, topography and surface roughness – tailored for wind sites anywhere in the world (~60 min).
